Chili-Rubbed Steak Tacos

I love any recipe that involves the grill because it means my husband is in charge of the main course. This is a fabulous recipe for steak tacos FILLED with tons of flavor.

Chili-Rubbed Steak Tacos
-adapted from The Sisters Cafe-

2 cloves garlic, pressed
1 Tbs. kosher salt
2 Tbs. chili powder
2 Tbs. brown sugar
2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. black pepper

2 lbs. flank steak
flour tortillas
Monterrey jack cheese
shredded romaine lettuce
diced avocado
sour cream
lime wedges

Combine first 7 ingredients to create dry steak rub. Massage mixture onto meat and marinate in large ziplock bag for at least 30 minutes.

Grill steak over medium high heat for 3- 3 1/2 minutes on each side. Let rest for 5 minutes, then thinly slice against the grain on a diagonal.

Serve in warm tortillas with desired toppings.
