Texas Sheet Cake

This is from one of my best friends growing up....She was a true Texan, so that's why I like her version of Texas Sheet Cake best. :) I guess I'm a true Texan too, now!!
Texas Sheet Cake

Sift 2 c. sugar and 2 c. flour and mix together. Set aside. Mix ½ c. butter, ½ c. Crisco, 4 Tbs. cocoa, and 1 c. water in saucepan and boil. Pour over dry ingredients and beat well. Add ½ c. buttermilk, 2 eggs, a dash of salt, 1 tsp. soda, 1 tsp. vanilla, and 1 tsp. cinnamon. Beat well and pour into greased and floured jellyroll pan. Bake 20 min. at 400.

Frosting:
Bring to boil: ½ c. butter, 4 Tbs. cocoa, 6 Tbs. milk, and 1 c. pecans (optional). Remove from heat and add 1 tsp. vanilla and enough powdered sugar to make it creamy (about 2/3 box).
