Sugar and Spice Almonds

Sugar and Spice Almonds

1 egg white
3 c. raw almonds
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
¼ c. butter

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In bowl, combine egg white with 1 T. water and whisk until foamy. Add almonds and stir until nuts are coated. Set aside.

In another bowl, combine sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Pour sugar over moist nuts and coat evenly.

Pour nuts onto sprayed jelly roll pan. Melt butter and pour over nuts, combining well. Bake for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from oven and let nuts cool in the pan. Stir occasionally. Break apart if necessary.

Nuts can be stored in an air-tight container for several weeks! Recipe can be doubled or tripled.
