Macaroon Kiss Cookies

Macaroon Kiss Cookies

1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. margarine
6 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 ½ c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. almond extract
4 tsp. orange juice
2 ½ c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
6 c. flaked coconut
1 9-oz. pkg. Hershey Kisses with almonds, unwrapped

Cream butter and margarine, cream cheese, and sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks, almond extract, and O.J. Beat well. Combine in separate bowl: flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in coconut. Cover tightly. Chill 1 hour or so until firm enough to handle. Shape into 1-inch balls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for about 4 minutes. Immediately press kisses on top of each cookie and bake 6-8 more minutes or until lightly browned.
