Dutch Babies / German Pancakes

Dutch Babies / German Pancakes

2 T. butter

4 eggs
2/3 c. milk
2/3 c. flour
¼ tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Put butter in an 8x8 glass pan and place in oven until melted.

Meanwhile, mix together remaining ingredients. Pour into hot pan and bake for 16-18 minutes. Don’t open the oven early, as it will cause pancake to flatten! Serve with syrup or fresh lemon juice and top with powdered sugar.

  1. German Pancakes are one of our favorite breakfasts. :) Dan introduced me to having them with a few squeezes of fresh lemon juice & powdered sugar and it's my new favorite!
