Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies


Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies

1 c. butter
1 ¼ c. creamy peanut butter
¾ c. white sugar
¾ c. light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 ¼ c. whole wheat flour
1 ½ c. white flour
½ tsp. salt
1 ½ tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Milk chocolate chips
Bowl of white sugar

Cream together butter, peanut butter and sugars. Beat in eggs. Combine dry ingredients and add to butter mixture. Add vanilla. Add chocolate chips. Cover and refrigerate dough for 1-2 hours.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Roll balls of dough in white sugar, and flatten on cookie sheet (until about ¾ inch thick). Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Let cookies sit on pan for 1-2 minutes before removing to cool.
