1 pkg. chocolate chips
1 box German chocolate cake mix
2/3 c. evaporated milk
3/4 c. butter, melted
2/3 c. flour
Preheat oven at 350. Melt caramels in medium saucepan with 1/3 c. evaporated milk. Set aside. Mix together cake mix, flour, butter, and 1/3 c. evaporated milk. Spread half of mixture into greased pan and bake 6 minutes. Take out of oven and spread caramel and chocolate chips on top. Take remaining batter and rip into pieces, placing randomly on top of caramel and chocolate chips. Bake 18 more minutes. Let cool. Best if you let sit overnight.
