Bananas Foster

This is a great way to use some of your aging bananas. It's hot, gooey, and yummy.

Bananas Foster

4 T. butter
¼ c. brown sugar
3 T. orange juice
½ tsp. cinnamon
1 T. minced crystallized ginger (optional)
3 peeled, quartered bananas
vanilla ice cream

In skillet, melt butter. Add other ingredients + ¼ c. water. Cook and stir for 1 minute. Add bananas and sauté for 2 minutes per side. Divide ice cream into 4 bowls. Spoon bananas and sauce on top. Top with chopped almonds and toasted coconut.
